Mary Streetman Forehand

Mary Azalie Forehand, 73, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at home under the care of Hospice Savannah Inc. surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born in Seale, Alabama on September 22, 1938 to the late Walter and Josephine Streetman. She moved to Savannah at an early age, where she spent most of her life before relocating to Guyton about twenty years ago. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved painting, gardening, cooking and sewing.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years, Max G. Forehand of Guyton; two sons, Max D. Forehand and wife, Cathryn of Rincon and Michael W. Forehand of Guyton; daughter, Kimberly Ann Prevatt and husband, Ronnie of Guyton; and five grandchildren, Maddison Prevatt, Travis Forehand, Corey Forehand, Deven Forehand and Haley Forehand.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 28, 2012 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park .
